Week of May 20th to 26th:

Focus Questions:  What concepts of Ancient Greece "live on" in our culture?

Classwork:  Students focus on the "Golden Age" of Greece with research and 
                           focus on various areas of Greek culture (drama, debate, architecture,
                           pottery, math/science, and philosophy)

                          Class time to begin planning for Greek Festival project.

Assignments:    
                         • Persian War notes (Chapter 28) due Thursday, May 23rd. This should
                            include added notes on ONE battle.

                         • Work on your Greek Festival project. Due dates vary during the week 
                            of June 3rd (see below). See list of topics above.

                            Written copy of monologue due Tuesday, June 4th - all students.
 
           Presentation of projects:
